It is the real estate development firm KOP Limited that is behind the project that is meant to meet the explosive demand for skiing in China leading up to the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022. As always the Chinese Government aren’t messing around with their investment in winter sports. Plans worth an astounding £169 billion have been revealed telling the world a story of hundreds of new ski resorts opening up around the country in the next four years. Of course the Wintastar Shanghai complex will include aprés ski related venues such as bars and restaurants.
