- The variety
One of the top things about Zell am See-Kaprun, two ski towns connected by one ski pass, is that there is something for everyone. These includes the K-onnection from Kaprun to Kitzsteinhorn, a €81 million project which will be ready in the winter 2020, and enables skiers to go straight from their hotel to the glacier top thus being able to avoid overly crowded ski buses. Money has also been invested in connecting the local mountain Schmittenhöhe and Saalbach-Hinterglemm via the zellamseeXpress lift. When the second of the two lifts ss up and running in 2019 Zell am See-Kaprun will in effect be a part of the largest ski area in Europe.
- The quality dining
Restaurants in Zell am See-Kaprun take pride in holding high standards. Catering to a large variety of clientele most dining venues can be enjoyed regardless of how deep your pockets are. Two of the best ranked restaurants on TripAdvisor are Deins und Meins, a family run Austrian eatery spedialized in steaks, and Brasserie Traube, an asian inspired restaurant run by an exentric Swede.
